Bas' business card
"For me, the feather symbolizes the volatile way people usually treat internal communication. But communication deserves constant and fundamental attention: the smallest detail can make a big difference in the end. On its own a feather is quite meaningless, but when we see it in the plumange of a bird it adds to the whole and can therefore make a big difference. It works like that too in communication: it can make a big difference. Often the importance of communication is underestimated, but it gets the blame if projects or changes do not succeed to achieve their targets. Communication should therefore not be viewed as a separate discipline but should be viewed in relation to all the other parts of an organization, just like the small feather in the picture. It is part of a whole."
