Audit and analysis

Involve offers audits and analyses for all internal communication areas:

1. IC audit

The audit scans internal communications using the five focus areas of people, structure, themes, measurement and embedding and IC discipline. The methodologies used in our IC audit are document analysis, interviews, surveys (optional) or group interviews. If desired, the audit can be complemented with a full advice for improvement, including a proposal for implementation.

The IC audit can be deployed on specific aspects as well:

  • communications means and communications structure scan
  • analysis of communication processes
  • analysis and overview of social networks
  • listing and integrating topical themes
  • analysis of current systems and processes in relation to embedding
  • analysis of the existing IC discipline

2. IC style test

The test assesses the natural communication style and competencies of the most important communicators in your organization. It is a qualitative audit, aimed at a group of communicators (for example, managers at a specific level)  and at determining the required competencies in your organization to achieve successful internal communications. Using three tailored cases, we also identify the group’s natural internal communication style. The results provide input for a professionalization plan and can be an effective start for a consecutive communications workshop.

3. Change analysis

For change or project communications, we start by analyzing the change or project with the relevant teams, the results of which form the basis for the positioning, impact determination and the change strategy. An analysis is the first step in our multi-step approach for change management (in Dutch).

4 Effect measurements and IC business case

Whether you are working on important means of communications, a complete IC project or an entire campaign, you will always want to know what the result of your efforts is. We can help you in assessing that:

  • with dedicated measurement (qualitative or quantitative)
  • integrated in one of your organization's current surveys (e.g. employee engagement) or
  • worked out in business case, focused on the impact and results expected
