In order to establish a behavioral change in people you several factors that can influence should be kept in mind. People need to be motivated to change, need to have the capacity to change and need to get the opportunity to change. Based on the extended Involve experience in change projects we have developed a multi-step approach to install behavioral change in employees that coincides with the actual change in processes, systems and organization.
The change management multi-step plan gives an overview of all steps needed in order to establish successful (behavioral) change. You can use this tool to support your own change and organization, which provides you with a tailored approach.
The change management multi-step approach consists of the following tools:
Organizations are always in motion. They formulate a long term strategy and confirm or recalibrate this every year. In order to realize that strategy changes are often needed: in the organization, processes, systems and methods of working. Based on our many years of experience with changes Involve has developed a hand on tool: the change multi-step approach. The change management workshop is a section of this approach.
In the change management workshop participants learn how to use the change multi-step approach to analyze their change and develop a suitable approach to realize a (behavioral) change. During the interactive workshop participants exchange their experience and learn from one another. At the end of the workshop the participants have developed their own change approach and are able to put this into practice.
The workshop is aimed at both change and project managers as well as communications professionals involved in the change projects in their organization. During the 8 hours of the workshop they learn step by step how to apply the tool in their practice. We start with a brief theoretical introduction in change in organizations. We then go through the multi-step approach one by one with all participants. During the workshop we address current change projects in their organizations and participants complete the various steps with the help of interactive exercises.
To ensure interactivity the number of participants is limited to 12.
The workshop is part of the change multi-step approach package. The multi-step approach and template are also part of this package. A brief description of the multi-step approach and a format for blanks exercises assist in the project management analysis and planning.
Each Involve workshop is tailor made. We always take the specific change situation in consideration and connect the workshop with the participants’ wishes and needs. In addition we can apply the train-the-trainer principle in order for internal communications professionals to present the workshop in their own organization.
