The characteristics of our expertise

The five characteristics of the way we apply our expertise to achieve the best results for you, are:

1. Access to expertise

When one of our specialists works for you, you have immediate and unlimited access to our vision, methodologies and products. Every Involve specialist is supervised by a senior consultant and can ask for a review at any time free of charge for our clients. We keep our knowledge up to date continuously, by conducting research ourselves, contributing actively to the development of our profession and training and further developing our consultants monthly.

2. Tailored teamwork

Most communications issues require more than one set of competencies and specialisms. That is why we prefer to work in teams for our clients. Depending on your requirements we compose a team of Involve colleagues and/or our regular freelancers. If needed, the composition and the capacity of the team and its tasks can vary in line with how the assignment evolves. In case a consultant falls ill of takes a holiday, we offer you a suitable replacement if needed. A senior consultant supervises each team or consultant and will regularly think along and evaluate progress with you.

3. Independent

Our consultants are all-round internal communications specialists who can advise strategically as well as execute a plan. Of course, all Involve consultants can write texts in line with the objectives of the assignment. When editors, graphic or web designers or other operational experts are required, we are happy to use your preferred partners. We can also suggest any experts that we feel can deliver the quality needed. As we do not work with any agencies, we can advice on this as well as monitor quality independently.

4. Involved and pragmatic

In addition to their expertise, our consultants are characterized by their commitment to their work and a pragmatic approach. For us, commitment equals quickly understanding an organization- its strategy, culture and context. That’s why we often work at our clients' and we immerse ourselves in an organization to better understand its characteristics. The pragmatic approach comes from our belief that all knowledge, insight and methodologies need to generate results. We select and assess colleagues on their practical implementation skills and on their focus on delivering results.

5. Flexible budget

Our consultants work on the basis of an hourly fee mostly. Other options include working on a product or result basis, a fixed budget for the entire assignment, fixed fees for specific deliverables (a plan, or project communications for a specific period) or vouchers that can be used by clients any time they need help. We offer tailored budgeting depending on your wishes. Obviously, when working on the basis of an hourly fee, we do not invoice hours not worked. We remain within budget for all assignments, unless specifically agreed otherwise with you.
