Bas van Glabbeek

Bas has broad experience in internal communication and change management. His strengths lie in the combination of an analytic mind and a pragmatic spirit. Bas is interested in implicit communication (does the organisation prove what it promises?), organisational strategy and organisational change.

Bas’ business card: a feather

The feather symbolises the volatility often assigned to communication. It is my firm belief communication deserves much more attention, because the smallest element (like a feather) can make a big difference. On its own a feather might be meaningless, but in the context of a feather deck, its meaningful.

For communication, the same lesson applies. Although communication is often seen ‘at fault’ in hindsight, it should be part of the bigger picture to build success. Communication should not be regarded as a discipline of its own, but as a part of the bigger things within organisations.
